On-going training, mentorship, and continued development of your skills and knowledge are important to us.
Veterinary Assistants:
he veterinary assistant is intended for those who have not attended school for veterinary technology and/or are early in their career in veterinary medicine. Basic husbandry such as walking, feeding, and cleaning is essential to ensuring successful hospital stays. Cleaning and maintaining inventory at workstations/throughout the hospital is vital to successful operations. Assistants are expected to learn about anatomy and physiology, normal vitals, disease processes, etc., to enable them to take on more responsibilities and become better advocates for their patients.
